Temp Question
Hi everyone -
I am CD 11 (with no pos OPK or fertile CM yet). Generally my pre-O temps are 96.8-97.2-ish. The early part of this cycle was a little difficult with temping because of terrible allergies, and disturbed sleep. Last night, I got a decent night's sleep, but woke up to a temp of 97.5 (taken at the same time as always). I rolled over and went back to sleep. Out of curiosity, I took it again 3 hours later, when I woke up, and it was 97.7. I feel like I should have seen a higher temperature (based on the .1 degree for every half hour extra of sleep theory). I guess I am basically trying to rationalize excluding this temp because ultimately, if I O in the next few days, it's going to impact my coverline, etc. Any thoughts? My chart is below: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/19a3d6 Thanks! Beth

Hi Beth: I don't know why your temp was up, although I notice that it did the same thing last month at cd 10 and 13, so maybe it's just the way your temp runs pre-O. I think that you can always "rule of thumb" an aberrant temp so that it doesn't interfere with your coverline, so don't worry about that
.Good luck with O and let us know how things go with your temps! ++++++++++++++ Maura |
