Anyone have experience with Annovulatory Cycles?
Okay I have had 3 terrible cycles since last Nov where I do not think I ovulated and each time AF had to be induced with progestrone. This time I am on day 51 and had severe cramps yesterday and today with a little bit of blood tinged urine yesterday and even more today. It seems that AF could be on her way.
My question is...I know they say that if you have an annovulatory cycle you start to bleed but it is not really AF...something like annovulatory bleeding. Does anyone have experience with this? Should I treat this as regular AF and start taking my last doses of clomid if it does arrive. Thanks guys. My chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/16f0a9

Hi there: I don't know the answer to this, but I'm hoping someone with experience sees this post! I would call your doctor too and ask what they recommend about when to start Clomid.
Good luck and I hope you can begin a new cycle soon... keep us posted+++++++ Maura |

Hi,
Though the cause of bleeding in anovulatory cycles is very different from normal AF, as far as ART cycle is concerned, I believe this can be treated as normal AF. I have had some anovulatory cycles and my RE had given me Provera (medroxyprogesterone acetate) to start bleeding so that I can start a new ART cycle. However, I think you should still check with your RE before starting the clomids. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress. |
