fyi about first response hpt

hey everyone, was just reading about everyone's hpt's and different brands. Just wanted you all to know that the brand first response is famous for giving false positives. i had a false pos. with this brand many years ago and then got on the net and researched bulitins about it and lots of people have complained about it too. just thought we all should know.

maybe we should all start a discussion about what brands of opk's and hpt's are good and which are crappy.

Hi there: Thanks for your post. What you say about First Response is consistent with my impression of that brand. I haven't seen posts about FR in a while, but a few years ago, I remember a slew of false ++ with that brand! I wonder if the company changed things to reduce that problem or whether people just haven't been posting about it lately.

Anyway, I'll be glad to kick off a discussion about HPTs. I personally loved ClearBlue Easy. I also liked e.p.t. and the old CVS stick test (not sure if they make it anymore... this was 7 years ago already!).

yes, i was one of the lucky recipients of a false pos by FR. i even drove it to my friends house thinking i was seeing things. nope, she saw it too. i was devestated!
