Misdiagnosed!!!

Okay, so all this week I've posted about this hemorrhagic cyst, blah blah blah. Then I posted yesterday that it didn't make sense to have a prog level of 38.5 if my corpus luteum ruptured. They did the U/S this morning at the Dr and the corpus luteum is still there, not a full cyst, she described it like an "empty balloon". I had left a urine sample for them and guess what......there was a huge kidney stone in it!!!! THAT is what has been hurting me so bad this week, NOT a ruptured cyst. I cannot believe the ER misdiagnosed me. Thank goodness my OB had me come back in today. What is a healthy corpus luteam supposed to look like??

OUCH! Wow, Shel, I'm sorry both that you had a kidney stone and that you were misdiagnosed! You can Google the word "corpus luteum" and see images of corpus luteums... I was going to post some here, but I know some people get queasy looking at medical images

! Anyway, a deflated balloon sounds like a pretty good description to me!

Lovenox yielded success!!
