opk question, HELP!!!
I am using clear blue easy opk ( i read somewhere that this was the most accurate brand, even though it is more expensive) and I am confused about the lines. the test line, the first line (left) was very dark on one day, but it was a thin dark line with almost a shadow. the control line (right) was the normal width. The test line was very dark on the left edge of the line, and i was wondering if anyone has seen this before or if it is a valid result. it seems like every test i used out of this pack has had the test line very thin, only the left edge of the line is visible.
I tried using the cheap opks i ordered off the internet, which seemed to work pretty well, but i ran out and had to buy some from the store, and now I am very confused because i never had this issue with the other ones. I know some people have recommended the digital ones with the smiley face instead of the lines, but they were so expensive i thought i'd try the other ones first. thanks for your help!!!

i've had pos results with broken (almost dotted) lines, but never like you described. i only used CB opks.
i would probably BMS tonite for good measure, and get a new box. additionally i would call the 800 # and tell them what happened when you used the sticks. with any luck they'll send you a voucher for a new box.

If any part of the line is as dark as or darker, count it as positive, even if it is just a thin line! I use the rite aid store brand which is made by inverness (who I think makes CB), and they do the same thing.

I agree. Mine are like that too. As long as the part of the line that is dark is as dark or darker it has been a true positive for me...confirmed by US and prog. levels.
Good luck!!
