It's me......and now I'm stressing.....PG Ment.
Maura, Dina, others, I started with just a little bit of pinkish/brownish blood (only when I wiped), and that started this past Monday. Off and on......just a very little bit. I didn't think it was anything to worry about (I've read about that happening sometimes). However, this afternoon I just started with a pretty heavy (red) flow. Trying not to panic. But, it SEEMS like I'm losing those early pg. "feelings" as well........the frequency urinating, the bloated feeling, and the tender b.b.s. I have a call in to the dr. right now. Just wondering.......does anyone think that this could be "normal". Esp. if my last a.f. was very light (March 23). Do you think that my body is still trying to expel some of the older lining? My avg cycles have been 36-40 days for the past 6 months.....so, right now would be 44 days. I've read somewhere that you can have a "light" period at the time your period would've been due. I wouldn't call this light.......though. I had some moderate cramping this morning......none now. But, pretty heavy flow! What d'you all think? I'm really stressed! Thanks, LAMom

Hello*!!! well first off I'm sure glad to hear that you called the DR, because that is what I would do right away. I have heard of people having spotting at the time that AF would be due....BUT if it is heavy....I am not sure....As for the cramping it could mean bad news or it could be that your uterus is strecthing making room for baby.
Please keep us posted*!!!!!!! {{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}

LAMom,
I am sooo sorry you have this to deal with. Have you heard back from the doctor? I don't know if this would be applicable in your sitution, but I work with someone who had what appeared to be full blown period while she was pg. Everything ended up being fine with her - she bled for a few days, just like her normal AF. So while it the bleeding is probably giving you some big worry, don't give up hope. {{{{{hugs}}}}}} Beth |

Not good news....sorry to report...Sad and graphic
I have been through the mill, ladies, I don't mind telling you. I am so sorry for those of you who have been down this miscarriage road. I had NO IDEA how truly terrible (painful AND emotionally draining!) it can be! ![]() What a roller coaster! I began with REALLY heavy bleeding very early this morning and then cramps like I have never felt before started about mid-morning. I was already set up to see the doc. at 2:30 today. Well, I wasn't sure that I could handle the pain until 2:30....I thought I might have to go to the E.R. But, around noon, the pain almost completely subsided. Still plenty of bleeding though. The dr. can't find anything to confirm that the pregnancy even WAS there at all. (all I had was two positive hpts.) I had an abdominal and a transvaginal ultrasound and neither one showed any signs of embryo or sac. I did do blood work and I will get those numbers tomorrow. At least it SHOULD show pgcy. hcg, even if the number is falling. SOMETHING, anyway. I'm so numb. All of the medical people were very nice.......I just can't help but wonder if they all think that I'm psychosomatic (sp?)). I passed alot of bloods and "clots" this morning.....so, I just really feel like that was probably it.....that was probably when I lost the pgcy. I wish I still had at least one "symptom" to enjoy for another day or so. Sure does make me glad that we hadn't really told anyone yet. Oh well....... Thanks for all of your posts and support! Oh no, LAMom
! I'm so very sorry! {{{HUGS}}} It sounds to me like an early m/c. I had two early m/cs (one at 5 wks and one at 6 wks) and they are devastating. I'm glad you will be getting the HcG number because it's really important that the number get to 0 now. I am just so sorry! Please take time for yourself. You've been through the wringer and you need to heal. We're here if you want a shoulder. {{{HUGS}}}+++++++++++++++ Maura |
