More bad news... (possible m/c ment.)

I woke up last night in a pool of blood, I was soaked. I rushed off to the hospital who told me they'd check me out but it was too early to be able to do anything to determine if I was m/c'ing or not.

They did an ultrasound to make sure it wasn't ectoptic, it's not thank god, and they saw the beginnings of a fetal pole and yolk sack... but no heartbeat of course, I'm only 5 weeks.

They drew blood for a beta but I won't have the results until Monday and they put me on bedrest just in case there's a chance to save this baby. I'm not very hopeful at this point, I've never had bleeding like that before not even with my 2 m/c's before.

Today I have no cramping, but still bleeding like a heavy day for AF. I think I'm out. I'll post the beta numbers on Monday... right now I'm just numb. Between yesterday with my cat and today I don't know what I'm going to do. I guess when it rains, it pours.

Oh, Krysi! How terrifying! Do you know whether your cervix was closed? If it was (is) and if you are not cramping, things could still be ok, despite the bleeding. My mother bled heavily when pg with my sister and was sure she was m/c. But it was all ok (albeit scary).

I'm praying for you that you will be ok too and that the pg is healthy. Please check back in soon. I'll be thinking of you constantly.

++++++++++++

Oh Krysi, I am so very sorry. I can only hope that the bleeding is for another reason and that your little bean is ok in there.

Hugs..

baby ment

Barging in again...

I'm so sorry you are going through all this, but there might be light at the end of the tunnel. It might be a subchronic hemorrhage and just coming out. You can still go on to have a big happy baby. I did. Good luck. Take it as easy as you can.
