Drinking gallons of water to help CM, question about OPK's

OK, I am getting v v feint OPK lines when normally at this stage of my cycle they should be almost positive, would the huge amounts of water dilute the HCG in my pee? I think this is what's happening but wanted to ask you wonderful ladies

Hi, you should hold off on the liquids and ideally do a four hour hold prior to doing the opk, so you may have a dilution problem.

Hi there: Yes, as Pecan said, lots of water can really dilute your urine and make it hard to see your surge... keep hydrated, but as Pecan says, delaying urination for 4 hours can help!

yes, i totally agree. i'm a big water drinker and i always had the same problem. when i go to the bathroom the water is almost as clear as before i went. it's good, but for testing with OPK's or HPT's it's bad. and forget about holding it....that's a joke when you drink a lot of water.

try holding off on all the water until after you've tested. good luck!

ditto on the water drinking.... i drink tons of it.... i jus had to make sure not to drink any after about 1pm... then i would test with opks around 6pm... btw... i took alfalfa this cycle to help with cm.. it helps to alkalize your cm to make it more spermie friendly... and this cycle i got my bfp!! i took 500mg from cd 5 (you can take it earlier) til O- but not after O cause it can cause uterine contractions and disrupt implantation. I also took evening primrose oil... and it helped produce a ton of ewcm!! goodluck to you!!!
