DH and I threw our hat into the ttc ring last month. I was on 50mg Clomid (I have two dd's 10 and 6 both conceived on 150 mg clomid). I am with my Ob/Gyne, not an RE and she wants to start out slow. So I am now on 500mg Metformin twice a day and since I did not ovulate last month, I'll be taking 100mg clomid days 5-9. I also plan on taking baby asprin. I will go for a progesterone check on day 21. I am a bit overanxious this time around. I know that my chances are decreasing as I am 38 (gonna be 39 in 4 weeks). So, if you have room in your prayers say one for me too!!

Have you been diagnosed with PCOS? I hope that the Metformin/Clomid combination does the trick. I've seen so much success here with that.

i don't blame you for being over anxious. maybe you can explain your concerns to your doc and ask him/her to help you a little more aggressively.
