Ovulating Early ?/BBs sore before Ovulation?

So normally I get a positive OPK on day 14 late and ovulate on day 15 early so not much warning. This has happened exactly the same the last 3 cycles. On Saturday Day 10 for me I saw EW and thought that is weird. Today day 12 on waking up lots of EWCM and was High and Soft and sure enough I took my first OPK and it was strikingly positive in less than 2 minutes.

How often does ovulating almost 2-3 days early happen? Just curious as I almost didn't start testing till tomorrow and I would have missed ovulation all together..Not to mention that we were at the inlaws all weekend and figured we had lots of chances to BMS, but now that is ruined

Just wondering if anyone has this happen often?

Also, my BBs starting hurting a on CD10 too, any correlation that something is funky this month?

Thanks, Me

Hi Chris! Glad you were paying attention to your body signs and took the OPK earlier than planned. If possible, I'd BMS today, tomorrow and the next day (and probably through cd 15 since that's when you usually ovulate). As for cycle variations, even the most regular cycler will find that O comes early or late now and then. When using OPKs, I always started them on cd 11 just in case even though I usually didn't ovulate until cd 13-20!

Hope you catch this O with BMS and good luck! Keep us posted++++++++++

Hi ChrisNY

That happens to me, probably about every 3 or 4 month, so now I start POAS on cd10. Usually I O on cd14, but have O earlier on cd12, caught my surge on pm cd10. The first time this happened I noticed a lot of ewcm on cd10, POAS and caught the surge. Since then I have noticed a trend. Good Luck with the BMS.
