Anyone with a +OPK but not O?
FF gave me crosshairs, but I really don't think I have yet O'd. In fact, I'm still taking OPK's, and almost have a + today...I'm thinking when I test this evening again, I'll get a definite +.
Just wondering if you can get a +OPK but not O...because I had a + back on the 22nd...but nothing. So, did I misinterpret the test...or does that sometimes happen? Thanks for any help. http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/f6894

That is exactly what happened to me last month, Kim. My doc said it happens sometimes. I had the progesterone test done and never got a rise even 7 days post surge and 12 days post surge. She said sometimes the egg quaility could have been a problem for that month or it was simply just not a "strong" o...whatever that means. I hope that this cycle surprises you and that you o soon.
Take Care

kim, although i know why FF is giving you the crosshairs (due to your cm notes and + OPK) i don't think you've O'd yet. your temps don't indicate O.
additionally, keep in mind that when the crosshairs are dotted, there's some "unreliable" info going on. i would continue to OPK and BMS at any sight of fertile cm. what clar said is also a possibility, but don't give up yet!!

I have had a time or two where the OPK was postitive or the monitor states O.. but then the progesterone test said No.. or more likly no. I think I was just a crazy example at times. I think temping along with the OPK is the best way to watch.
best wishes!

I did years ago when we were doing IUI's. I have PCOS though so that may have contributed at the time. We had a positive OPK ( we had to bring into the office with us) and then I had my u/s and no ovulation 4 days later, Prog test was negative as well at day 7 and 10dpo.
I guess it can happen? Sorry, that sucks! Hugs, |
