anyone know what I am talking about? I went to a new infertility doctor today and the nurse told me to use the opk's with the smile as the positive but she didn't know the brand name and I have never seen it before. A smile seems much easier to understand rather than trying to figure out the lines.
Thank you! Angie

hi angie....
i've never heard of this, but it sounds fantastic if it exists. i tried doing a search, but came up empty. i'd call the nurse and ask her if she could find out more (maybe other patients use it?) let us know if you come up with anything!

I just went to ...........com and did a search in the baby center store section for ovulation and it popped up. It is the digital opk's. Clearblue Easy digital has a smile
on the box. http://store............com/product/...sc=true&page=1

We are using these this month, they are very clear but the only problem I would have as a surrogate is with the linesyou get an idea that they are getting darker which gives you some notice, with the circle/smile it either is neg or pos. Using clearblue normal our lines are almost the same but the digital is still showing neg. It will be good to see if we get the smile tomorrow, though we think it should be a wink lol

Interestingly we never got a smile, although the other equally good tests gave us a definate 3 day light, dark, light pattern. The only poss explanation is I did the smile test at 2pm one day then 6pm the next, maybe I just missed it, but I don't think so as it is meant to give 2 days of smiles.
We did insems by the other brand and I will continue to use the smiley ones and see if we get anything. My FF chart is all over the place but I don't trust the thermometer much (although it is new it's not a BBT one just digital) because in bed yesterday I took 5 readings over 10 minutes and they were all different Oh well, we will keep trying |
