Early-Pregnancy-Tests.com question

Hi there. Just wondering if any of you have used HPTs from Early-Pregnancy-Tests.com, and if so, how well they worked. They claim to be sensitive at 20 (units), which is the most sensitive one I have seen on the market. Have any of you had luck detecting an early pregnancy with these? Thanks!

I buy them because they are cheap & I'm an addict. lol I think as far as detecting early - they aren't so great because I've seen two lines when not pg. IMO, they are also terrible for evap lines...but I think if I ever have a true +, they will be fine. I'm just one of those who stares at it, holds it up to the light, etc.

Not much help, am I?! Sorry! Good luck!

Thanks for the reply. That's terrible if you got 2 lines before when you were not pregnant... what's up with that?? BTW< do you get evap lines on them BEFORE the time limit (5-10minutes or so)? Just curious what to expect since I already ordered some.

I used them, but never had a BFP with them to really know. I did use the OPKs and thought they were alright. You get what you pay for... kinda like the dollar tree ones..

Since you already bought some.. follow the directions!

pg ment'd

I bought 20 of them to test with my last IUI. I first tested to watch the HCG go out of my system. The lines even then when the HCG should've been over 1000 were still super light! I got 3 days of negs before getting faint +'s. I started getting frustrated by how light the lines were and decided to use a test I have experience with (FRED) and that one came up dark + within seconds, whereas the cheapies were taking 10 mins or more to show a line!!

So the verdict is they are NOT the most sensitive. It takes a LOT of HCG to make the line even reomotely dark or to have the 2nd line come up quickly.

If you want to test early I'd say use the FRED.

Good luck!

Thanks for the info!

It's weird, because although I'm testing really early (mostly to see when the hcG from t he trigger shot leaves my system), I got a positive this morning from the Early Pregnancy Tests HPT but a clear negative from a First Response one this afternoon. I know first morning urine is more concentrated, but I would think if I had some left (it's only 8 1/2 days past trigger shot), it would show with First Response. Hm. =I'm confused. Of course, I'm currently a little unfairly biased against FRED right now because I have been using them the past few months and each time I get a BFN... I know, it's not exactly the manufacturer's fault but it still ticks me off.

littlecalista- congrats on twins!!

Yes - the evap lines I experienced were before the 10 min. time limit. Very disappointing when it turned out I was not pg. (this happened to me 2 different cycles)

Yep! I think I posted pics of them here at the time - I was so excited...but not hardly believing. lol I see lines that aren't there sometimes - but honestly - other people saw them, too!

I had a bad experience with a First Response, too...! Maybe I'm just one of "those people". lol I've honestly wondered if I didn't have a really early m/c - I had about 4 + tests...then days later, nothing.

I know one thing, after all that, I have sworn that if I get anything remotely resembling a ++ in the future, I am going for a beta before telling ANYONE!

GOOD LUCK to you!!!
