Stupid !@%$ #%@ LP......
I woke up this morning to some light spotting so it looks like AF will be here tomorrow. Since I'm undecided about when I O'd, tha means this one is 9-11 days long. Not long enough at any rate. I think we'll sit out next month (I'm still gonna chart though) until I get some progestorone supps. I think my slightly high prolactin levels are to blame for the short LP rather than progesterone because my progesterone was nice and high 7dpo. How do you fix high prolactin??

Oh Krysi so sorry.... totally sucks!!!
You are sure AF is on her way... temps are still up... I have read that there is some meds to lower down your prolactin... maybe you could do a search in the posts here...or in the internet... I hope AF stays far away!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Hang in there Krysi. I saw slight spotting at 11 and 12dpo that was EXACTLY like pre-AF spotting..
and now I think it was implantation spotting. Try to stay positive until you know for sure what's going on. We'll cross our fingers for you!!!!!!!! |

Thanks Loyda, I'm not positive that AF is on her way because the spotting is the only thing that leads me to believe she's coming..... I have no other symptoms. I guess I'll know for sure tomorrow.
I found three different medications online to help lower your prolactin, but they seem to have quite a few side effects. One may even cause birth defects, yikes! The vitex that I've been taking during my LP is supposed to help lower prolactin, I'm thinking I may take it through my whole cycle this time even though I've heard it may make you anovulatory after a few cycles. I might be one of the ones that it doesn't affect that way, and I'll never know if it would have helped if I never try. Since we're planning on taking a break next cycle, I think it's a good time to experiment.

Thanks Writinit, I hope that's what this is!
I'm not upset if this is AF anyway, I told myself that I wasn't allowed to be upset this cycle when AF showed last time and somehow that seemed to take the stress and worry out of this cycle. Still, I was really hoping for a BFP for Christmas..... maybe next year.BTW, how many days after the spotting did you test?? I don't remember.

Thanks everyone! I guess I have some sorta good news, the spotting seems to have stopped...... now let's hope it doesn't come back.
Sarah ~ I am taking 200mg now, that's what I've been taking all the long.
