Does anyone use the Ering?
It's apparently ... some kind of... vaginal... RING. My nurse prescribed it for me when I complained about being dry from the clomid. But it costs $100. The pharmacist said there are other options... but the nurse said it's the best thing for lining and dryness.
Is this thing worth $100? It works for 3 months. STILL.

Hi there: I've never heard of that ring... and I googled the name but didn't want to put in the words "vaginal ring" because I was afraid what sites I would be catapulted to!
I hope someone with experience sees this. Otherwise, I know people here have had success with Preseed. Best of luck! ++++++++++++++ Maura |

Maura,
That's hilarious. Our IF can be easily linked to **** in so many instances... I'll look into the preseed. I (demanded to have a) CD21 blood test today (i'm expecting it to prove my theory that I did NOT ovulate and therefore just wasted over $700 on an IUI). I'll ask the nurse again then. Thanks!! |

Thanks for asking, Maura.
The nurse called me and cancelled my test. She said it's too soon after the IUI. I told her I was concerned that I didn't ovulate and she said to keep checking the tests. I don't believe in the tests. My temperature has not changed one bit. She told me again to go get the ring. I'm going in on Monday to check progesterone. Monday will be CD26 for me. My cycles are 38days+ (although maybe this month the metformin will help regulate it). The day of my IUI, I made her give me an u/s because I doubted then that I had surged. She saw at least one mature follicle, so decided to go ahead. My question is... how long can your ovary hold on to a mature follicle, in theory? Could mine still be brewing in there, and not planning to release? I understand why IVF has higher success rates... they pluck that egg right out of there so there's not as much guesswork! |
