Looking for stories- multiple BFN's on HPT turn out BFP later??

Ladies...
I'm going a little nuts here. I'm almost 6 days late. I'm NEVER this late. I've taken 3 hpts during this time. All 3 said BFN - although the first hpt was 1 yr past expiration date. So, naturally I take another hpt the next day to rule out error on 1st test. 2nd test is also BFN, but I took it in the evening and I basically FORCED myself to pee - don't think I did a full 5 seconds. So,naturally I take another hpt the next day to rule out possible error on 2nd test. This time, I do it first thing in the morning, by peeing into a cup this time and test according to package instructions. And,of course, it is BFN.
I guess I'm just looking for some wierd success stories where you got several BFN's on HPT's only to find out you are BFP.
Anyone? Anyone?
Bueller... ? Bueller....?

I know, I'm stretching it a bit here... But humor me.
Thanks!!

i got BFN's at 14/15 dpo that turned + 4/5 days later.

one of my sister's who was very late for AF (and was not TTC) took 6 HPT's over the course of 6 weeks, and got all negs. i was TTC at the time and even made her take one of my HPT's that i had in the house. i saw myself that it was clearly neg. she was insisting that it was just her body starting to go haywire as she was dx with peri-menopause a few months earlier. she was 38 and her family was complete years earlier. i insisted that she call the doc and go get a beta.......and low and behold...her "BFN" is now 7 years old.

her pg was normal and her beta was good, but for some reason, she just didn't trigger a HPT pos.

i hope this is the case for ypu! good luck!

Hi

Hpts will show BFN if Hcg level is low. Maybe you are still early. Secondly
it depends what brand u use as some are less sensitive and dont measure till 75 or 100 mu. I would ask doc for a beta

I got a +ve followed by several negatives till 16 dpo . I was sure it was a false positive. { I dont get Af on my own] Ladies here convinced me to take a beta and it was the real thing.

Good luck
