Is it possible to have a neg opk and...

ovulate on the same day as a negative?? I think at some point i might have done that in a past cycle. I should go check out FF and see!

But anyway, I'm so confused as to what is going on this cycle. I was just waiting for AF to show (as usual) so that i could get started this cycle with monitoring with the RE. But, the days keep going by. Then i had EWCM show up and today i had a ton. I decided to stop and pick up my prometrium (to kick start AF) and decided to get some opks to make sure i wasnt going to ovulate because the stretch EWCM is just very odd without taking clomid.

I've felt a little achy in my ovary for the past two days so i'm not sure what that is about. It feels like when im going to ovulate on clomid. ARGH.

I guess tomorrow will tell whether or not I'm going to ovulate, but i just wondered if you can get a neg opk and still ovulate the same day. My opks are usually very white negative until i start to do the fade in thing over a several days before ovulation. Tonight i had a very faint line, so either i'm going to fade in (but EWCM would be too early) or I've already surged and going to ovulate (???).

I am also having some major tenderness in my breasts which is just strange. Does anyone else get breast tenderness around O?

Hi Julie: I think it would be possible to get a negative OPK and then O that same day because I think your surge can recede fast before O, making your LH undetectable by the time O actually happens. You could easily have surged 1-2 days ago when you weren't testing with OPKs.

I'm glad you are temping again because I think it will tell you if you did in fact O today or if you will soon. Make sure you BMS while you have this good ewcm!

Good luck and keep us posted++++++++++
