no positive opk but cycle is late

I used strips from my opk kit from 2 months ago. I did not get a positive surge. After I read the back of it that said I should not use after 30 days I was on cd 18. I then used the ones that i bought online from ebay. I tested for 4 days and still did not get a positive. I had some spotting for one day on cd 23. For about a year now I always spot after ovulation until my cycle starts again. This did not happen this month. I normally ovulate on cd 16 or 17. My cycles are 28 to 30 days never longer. I am now on cd 32. I had my normal symtoms that AF was coming but they ended 2 days ago. Me and DH had BMS this am and when I went to wipe I had a little bit of blood but nothing else since. DH is telling me to wait until i am a week late but i want to know now. I have one pg test and it is one i got from ebay online. Is it ok to test now or should i wait until the morning?

Hi there: Are you saying that you didn't start testing with an OPK until cd 18? Or just that you didn't realize that the OPKs were expired until cd 18? If the former, then you might have missed your surge since you say you typically O on cd 16-17. If the latter, then what cd did you start testing with an OPK?

If you are already past your usual cycle length, then I would test now. You can always test again if it's negative (which it may well be since you don't know for sure when you O'd).

GOOD LUCK and let us know how your test comes out, whenever you decide to take it!++++++++++

based on your own bodily knowledge, it sounds like you may have O'd, but didn't pick it up on the OPK.

wishing you the best for a BFP!!!

Thanks everyone. I tested this a.m. and it was a BFN. Still no sign of Af. I don't know what could be happening. I will give AF a few more days then i will call the doctor.
