CM & meds?
Hello again to the OPK/BBT gurus!
I am taking tamoxifen (like clomid, but not) this cycle. I'm only on CD9 and have an u/s scheduled for CD11 w/OPK's 2X per day after that. But I have "wet" cm. I thought the meds made you... dry but for me, not so much. Fertility Friend is flagging me as "fertile." Just to be sure I took an OPK last night (negative). I couldn't actually be ovulating this early could I? Is this just a side effect (that only I seem to have?) This is my chart, not that it really says much at CD8. http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/163171 Thank you thank you!!!!

HI! - I wanted to let you know that I took Clomid for one cycle then had to stop because of a ruptured cyst....but the Clomid did not effect my CM at all! Not one bit....Also, on a non-med cycle I O around CD 14-16...and with Clomid, I O'd on CD 16....so that didn't change for me either. On Clomid you O 5-10 days after your last dosage...so that would mean for you CD 12-17 if tamoxifen works the same way. If I were you I would BD every other day until you get a ++OPK then BD that day and the next two days and you should be covered. From the looks of your chart you seem to be "fertile" when you have watery CM...have you ever seen EWCM?

Hi there: I don't know how cm is with that med, but I think sjuhawk04 has given you great advice as far as a BMS schedule
. To add to that, I would also BMS on ANY day that you have fertile-quality cm! You just never know when O can strike... also good cm can keep sperm alive until O happens .Good luck and keep us posted++++++++++ Maura |

thank you!
Thank you guys for taking the time to reply. I used OPK's just to be sure (and, therefore, wasted yet more money on the assumption that I would actually ovulate). My u/s today revealed cysts and miniscule follicles. So... no fear of missing it. How it took so long to diagnose PCOS is beyond me. I cried so much when she told me that the checkout nurse didn't charge me for the u/s (no doubt she'll send a bill later).
He called in some clomid and glucasomethingorother. I love my body right now. thanks again |

Oh, {{{HUGS}}}... I have seen SO many people on glucophage have success with O and pg... It stinks to have wasted time and money before getting the right diagnosis, but I'm glad you now have it and can move forward with your new protocol.
So, does the doctor think you could still O this month? Best of luck and keep us posted+++++++++ Maura |
