1 dpo today?
Hi ladies!...
I had an hcg trigger at 5pm on Tuesday (oct 17) i was cd 13. I had ewcm on cd 14 Wednesday Oct 18, and tested with an opk (although i don't needed, just curious) and was definetely positive at 6pm. Had ovulation pain in Wednesday and yesterday (thursday oct. 19) and saw no ewcm. So I'm assuming i ovulated yesterday, but temp today was 97.5 something. (i forgot the exact temp, but i will update my chart later when i get home). I read on fertility friend that hcg can affect the temps and that go by your doctor's advice. He told me ovulation would occur 24 hours after the hcg trigger. I'm thinking i ovulated yesterday (in the morning, perhaps), what do u think? TIA. (sorry for the long post, thanks for reading!) hi loyda....i think you could've O'd anywhere between wednesday evening and thursday some time. it's not really possible to pinpoint exactly when. i'm guessing you covered your bases with timed BMS and that's the important thing!
as for the temps, i'm not entirely sure how hcg would affect them. i know progesterone affects temps (usually bringing them up) but i don't know exzctly what hcg will do. although according to your temp, it doesn't look like a typical rise, but maybe with all of th other info (pos OPK, ewcm) FF will actually declare your O on the correct day anyway. i'd be curious to know what happens when you put the info in. good luck!

Hi Loyda: I don't see O yet from your chart because of that temp on cd 13 which is higher than your temps on cds 14-16. I would not stop BMSing just yet as it's possible that you could still O today.
As for HcG, from what I've seen here, it can artificially raise your temp the day after the shot, which means that your cd 14 might have been lower had you not had the shot. However, that still doesn't affect your temp on cd 13 which was taken before the shot. So, bottom line, I wouldn't stop BMSing until your temp rises up a little more and stays up! Good luck and keep us posted++++++++++++ Maura |

My nurse told me with HCG shots that temps are no longer reliable (?), i guess the same way when you are pg that they fluctuate etc. She said put the thermometer down and step away from it lol. So I probably wont be temping (once af gets here...grrr which is another story with me!) and just going by u/s and then 7dpo progesterone draw...
Good luck!! (i wont write any of the above in stone tho...i tend to be anal and probably will temp just to drive myself more nuts then i already am! )

Today's temp was 97.94... but i think FF will put my o date in Friday, not in Thursday like I think it was...
Anyhow, I won't worry about that, I already cover BMS... that's the important thing, right?... Very happy that my ovaries produced a good follie this cycle even if it results in a BFN... Thanks all for your responses... Loyda |

Hi Loyda: Well it sure looks like you O'd
! From your temps it does look like O was yesterday, but sometimes temps can be a day behind... as you say, the important thing was that you kept BMSing .Good luck with your 2ww and keep us posted! ++++++++++++++++ Maura |
