When are temps considered triphasic??

Just hoping for a triphasic pattern, but don't really know what I am looking for.

my chart went tri[hasic the day AF was due.

my pre-O temps ran between 96.9-97.4
post-O temps 97.6-98.3

when AF was due my temp jumped up to 98.5 and climbed every 2 days another 2/10ths of a degree. i stopped temping about a week later, but you could clearly see that third level of temps beginning when AF was due. looking at the chart at a glance, there were literally three different levels of temps.

if you go to the chart galleries at either ovusoft.com of fertilityfriend.com, they should have "triphasic charts" that you could look at to get an idea.

just as a side note: you can have a triphasic chart and not be pg, and you can be pg without a triphasic chart. it's not always significant of something to have/not have a triphasic chart.

I had a triphasic chart this month and it was a bfn! My temps pre O were 97.4-97.6. Temps post O were between 98 and 98.2 7dpo, then 8dpo, it went to 98.4 and the next four days it was 98.4-98.9 and then it plummeted to 98.1 the day before my period started. After two days in the third range, my software indicated I was tripahsic and to do a hpt. No luck, though :-(

Hi Sassy, it was great. I got 3 job offers for post doctoral training and the National health Institute at Bethesda , MA. MA is a great state for fertility challenged women like me, so I am considering it . Since it is a government job insurance is free.
