OPK How to tell

Ok im totally confused, Ive been doing OPK's for 4 days now this is the first time that I have seen lines on these before. The last 4 days I see a surge but it is the same color. Hasnt gotton darker. Im supposed to do the post coital test ive already done one of these 2 years ago and think its a waste but I am doing the opk's and im not seeing it change to really dark. Its like 1 or 2 shades lighter. Today is cd 12 I have no idea. Any info would be greatly appriciated thanks ladies
Robyn

Hi Robyn, When you say "it's the same color" do you mean the result line is the same as itself from day to day? And that that line is always lighter than the reference line?

An OPK is positive when the two lines are the same color or the result line is darker than the reference line. If you're not seeing that yet, it's probably because you haven't surged yet, which is fine by cd 12. If the test line just started showing up, it may be that your LH is increasing and you'll surge soon. Keep OPKing for now!

Good luck and keep us posted++++++++++++

The refrence line is dark Like it should be. THe result line is just a shade or 2 lighter. So im assuming i havent surged yet. Uggh I hate this woundering lol. I know its not as dark so I sit and wait till it becomes dark. Hopefully, It will work I dont know usually what day this should happen Like I said today it cd12 so hopefully shortly this will happen Thanks a bunch
