what is goin on

Hi
I was a little bit lax this cycle with monitoring O because we really arent ttc anymore, but I still do the progest suppositories for premenstrual spotting. Well since I only went by o pains this month I started my progest on when I thought was 3dpo and I found that I was spotting like crazy. I usually so them 2x a day but this cycle i decided to try 1x a day to see what would happen and I was spotting alot so I started 2x a day yesterday and the spotting is still there a little bit. I dont know if I should just stop them and say the heck with this cycle ( I am supposed to start af by saturday) or keep doing them till af arrives, but i am thinking that since it's only been 25 days since my last period then this shouldnt be af starting right? Usually i will do the supps 3dpo till 17 dpo take a hpt then usually i will start to spot at that time and that is how i know when to stop them. Any ideas for this cycle?

Hi jd: I'm not sure what's going on... AF could be arriving this early, depending on when you O'd and how long your LP is (I have gotten AF on cd 26-27) ... if you are not ttc this month, then I would probably stop the progesterone since it's not stopping the spotting anyway ... but if you are ttc and need to keep your progesterone up, then I would continue with the prog. just as you usually do.

Have you called your doctor? I would if you haven't and let him/her know about all of this spotting and see what he/she has to say.

Good luck and keep us posted++++++++++
Maura
