new to charting BBT
We are taking a break from IUIs so I'm trying to chart my temps and go natural for while. SO, I should be Oing around now. My temps are always pretty low, two days ago it was 97.5 then up to 97.7 for two days and now down to 97.5 again. I know it's supposed to be up for 3 days after O so I'm not sure what this means and am afraid this cycle is a bust. Any ideas?

Hi there: Welcome to the bbt bb
!Did you start temping from the beginning of the cycle? If so, I'd love to see your temps so far (actually, I'd love to see them from whenever they start!) ... for O to be reflected in temps, you look for a rise of at least .2 of a degree higher than your previous 6 temps and then for temps to stay up in the higher range for the rest of your LP. You had a rise to 97.7 which is .2 degree higher than the 97.5, so assuming your temps before the 97.5 were all 97.5 or below, then the rise to 97.7 could be your ovulatory rise. Today's temp could be a temporary fallback, in which case your temp should go back up tomorrow. For ttc purposes, though, I'd assume that you have NOT O'd yet and I would keep BMSing accordingly . And let's see what your temp does from here...Good luck and I'll check back+++++++++++++ Maura |

Hi Maura-
Here's a link to my chart, I hope it works. http://www.fertilityfriend.com/ttc/c...dule.php?cd=33 Let me know what you think. I had lots of EWCM last night so I'm hoping we are hitting the fertile time now! Thanks, Jessica |

Hi Jessica: Your chart looks good so far... very normal looking for pre-O
. If you cycle is 28 days (as it was last month), then depending on how long your luteal phase is, you could O anywhere from cd 12 to cd 16. Since it doesn't look like you've O'd yet, I'd wager you might in the next few days (esp. since you had ewcm last night )... so keep BMSing until your temp rises and stays up!Good luck and let us know what your temp does +++++++++++Maura |
