Another Temp Question

Hi! My dh and I have decided to ttc again! It's cd19 of my first cycle since weaning my almost 15 month old. I've been OPKing, but no O yet. I haven't been temping because my ds gets up alot at night and I didn't think it would work. I would really like to temp though and was wondering if I should even bother?? I normally get up around 2-3 times at night. Would it still benefit me, even if I don't get 4 hours of consistent sleep?

Thanks for any help and I wish you all the very best!!!!
Michelle

I think you should still chart your temp. I get up a couple of times at night to go to the bathroom. Sometimes just a couple of hours before taking my temp. and I still see a four tenths of a point or more rise at ovulation. Do you have long cycles? Sometimes my cycles are 35 days and I don't ovulate until around CD 18-19.

Hi Michelle: I agree with Tina! I have very disrupted sleep and I never had any trouble seeing ovulatory shifts despite not getting 3 hours of consecutive sleep ....

Good luck and keep us posted!

Thanks!!! I will start to temp next cycle as I think this one will be anov. It's cd20 and nothing! Maybe my body is not back to normal yet? I didn't have an AF the whole 13.5 months of bfing. This is my first cycle since weaning.

Thanks again!
