Hi Everyone!

Hi Ladies. Just checking in to say hi and ask some of that great advice on pee sticks LOL (then I have to catch up on reading in here LOL)

So I had my IUI yesterday. Minus the fact that she couldn't reach my cervix after, of course 10 minutes with a dry speculum, the plastic long one finally worked and the IUI itself was a piece of cake. Since I went natural, I only had one follicle. It was at 16 on Friday, I triggered Sat. night and on Monday, the ultrasound showed it had ruptured. DH's counts were great (of course, to his bragging), but they actually were really good - 40mil. for the count and 72% motility. He had to work a 24 hour shift right after, but a guy came in (whose wife, just went through the IUI, Clomid saga and is now preggo with twins) and covered for 2 hours so we could have BMS. Geez! We have our fingers crossed that this worked!

Here is my question(s)...
I triggered with Ovidrel (Hcg) 250mcg (subq) on sat.
I'm on crinone gel again (but I'm only taking 1/2 the dose).
I go in next week for my estrogen/progesterone level blood draw and my Beta is scheduled for 9/11 (14 days post IUI)

If I test at home before the 14 days is up, will the ovidrel be out of my system? Does anyone know when? I read a few different things, so I'm not quite sure. Why poas before the beta? I'm obsessed, of course LOL

Also, I've been temping @ 11am (been sleeping in for a few weeks here). I went back to work today. I temped @ 6am (WAAAYYY earlier!) My temp wasn't up at all (but I ovulated, supposedly). That worries me. It's much colder here (last night was COLD). My temp during the day isn't much higher than what it was this am. Should I look at it as my 11am temps are higher as it goes up .2 for every hour you test later? I'm not sure on this one. I would want to believe the bloodwork and ultrasounds, but really, the ultrasound only showed the follicle @ 16mm and then 3 days later that there wasn't one. That's too ambigious for me LOL

HELP!!!

SMILES!!!!!! and Good Luck to all this cycle!

It can take up to 14 days for the trigger to be out of your system. I tested early and got a false positive. So be careful with testing early. Hope this helps and good luck!

Hi Sassy: Glad to hear your IUI went well! I too would try to wait for the 14 days because of the Ovidrel factor (but I don't know how long 250 mcg of Ovidrel take to be out of your system... I'll see if I can find out anything)...

As for your temp question, can you tell us more about your temps? Do you have an online chart we could look at? If not, can you type out temps before O and your temp today so we can see them? I have hard time unless I can "see" them!

Good luck and let us know how you're doing+++++++++++++

Figures - 14 days - just my luck - no peeing on a stick LOL

My sister had twins - first try with clomid. She's going crazy now LOL She'll call when they are both screaming and say to me, "Are you sure?" and just hold the phone up - it's hilarious!

Here's the link to my temps.

WHen I did the math and factored .2 for every hour, it would make me 1 degree off. I don't know, though. If the follicle was gone, I would certainly hope I o'd. I've never had a problem with it before (but there's a first time for everything, right? LOL)

I also did the OPK, but I'm sure the ovridel affected it. I thought I remember reading about it not being compaitable with OPKs, but I could be wrong there too.

Thanks Ladies!!

Hi Cibele! How are you doing? How was your spa visit? Relaxing? How's the thesis - any headway?

Cool - 2ww with me! Did you guys BD? I'm crossing my fingers for you too! You never know! My sister's friend had an IUI because of a "hostile environment" and was told she'd need one to get pregnant again. Well, they used no protection and BAM she was pregnant on her own. SOOO, maybe natural will be the way to go - cross my fingers!

I hope this IUI worked. Today was my first day back to work and I'm trying to figure out how the heck I'm going to get my blood work done and drive 1/2 hour to work without being late in the next two weeks! I can't imagine doing all of this testing again another cycle while I'm working. The hours they run things just don't work for me LOL. BUT, where there's a will, there's a way.

When is your insurance kicking in? This is our one shot, so after this, we have to pay...YIKES! This sure will get expensive real fast! Are you moved yet or still @ your friend's? You needed that spa day - you are too busy LOL

SMILES!!!!! and it was good to hear from you!

Hi Sassy: I think you did O yesterday. Your temp today is .1 higher than your previous 6 temps (was the 98.0 your actual temp or your adjusted temp?) and that could signal a slow rise pattern. With that kind of pattern, your coverline is drawn through the rise, just as the software has done it. Now let's hope your temps stay up above 98.0 so that you can put all doubt out of your mind!

Good luck and keep us posted++++++++++

The 98 was actual - just 5 hours earlier than I'd usually test. I have my fingers crossed - I can't imagine wasting my one try with insurance to have me not even ovluated yet LOL AHHHH!

Thank you SO much for looking...can't wait to sleep so I can temp @ 6am LOL

Well, it was barely up this am. I took it four times in 10 minutes - each time was different - it went up and down, up and down. I woke up freezing - no blanket on - window open. That temp was low - 97.96. Then it went up to 98.06 1 minute later. Then, 97.98, then 98.04. Ugh, I don't know what to think! I don't get it! I mean, it's definitely earlier in the morning than when I tested preovulation, that is for sure. BUT, it certainly hasn't gone up! I guess Friday I can sleep in and see - but it won't really matter by then.

I guess I have to have faith in the bloodwork from Friday and the ultrasounds from Friday and Monday. I have to have faith that the ovidrel worked. Nothing else i can do but worry. THIS SUCKS!

Ok, have to get ready for work - thanks for letting me rant!
