Clomid not working or I'm paranoid?
Last month was my first cycle on Clomid and I had side effects galore to remind me that I was on the drug but I managed to ovulate! This time around (same dosage) I haven't had a single thing. Not a single hot flash or sore bb.
It is really starting to bother me. If I am not feeling the same way I did the first time does it mean that I am not going to "O" either? Can you be on Clomid and not have any nasty side effects and it still makes you "O"? I am cd12 today and if it is like last cycle I would ovulate in about 2 to 3 days. Any chance or has Clomid failed this cycle? Do I need to up the dosage for next cycle? (at 50 now) Thank you all in advance.

I've heard a lot of people say that the side effects on clomid are much milder the more you take it. I personally don't get any side effects at all and it works for me. Don't stress yourself too much -that will cause you to delay O. Go for a massage and relax. It's out of your hands now!

i agree with wan2b3. additionally, there's a good possibility you could O later than last cycle. normal O on clomid can occur anywhere between cd 17-22. so don't be alarmed if you don't O in the next few days.
good luck.

There were bad months and then good months.. with a month or two with no O with the clomid... then the dosage would be increased due to no progesterone or very very low on the blood test. Everyone is different... so hang in there and keep in contact with your OB. Best Wishes!

I also seem to be having varied responses. The first month the side effects were terrible and no O. This month, no side effects and I had good follies and Oed on time! I hope every month is like this!
