Hi all! I doubt that any of the people I knew are still here, but I could be wrong. I just wanted to offer hope to all of you, and share this with Maura and Dina who were wonderful all through my IF struggles and my loss. ((HUGS)) Thank you so much girls.
Anyway, I was a board member just like you guys and I gave birth to my little girl on July 28th. I suffered from PCOS and secondary IF. We tried for over two years, I finally got my ++ and then we found out it was just a missed m/c. We were devastated. And this only made us want our baby even more. I did not seek out Clomid or any fertility drugs. I did go on glucophage and baby aspirin because I'd heard those both help women with PCOS, other than that we prayed. Our first month on these we got pregnant again. And then it started...... It was a rocky pregnancy from the get go. At first they said my beta wasn't doubling properly and so prepared me for an ectopic. Then when I got my first u/s at 6 weeks they told me her heartbeat was pretty low and so they were worried it might not be a viable pregnancy then. Her hb did come up to normal range when they checked again in another week, and all was uneventful for a little while. Then at 21 weeks I started having "bh" or contractions, and by 27 weeks I had funneling and was put on restricted activity. At 33 1/2 weeks I had an u/s with dopplers and they told me the baby was not doing well and they were going to have to deliver me in a few days. They gave me steroids and the whole nine yards. We called everyone knew; everyone at church, all of our family, and everyone I knew on here. In fact we had tons of people praying for us that we didn't even know (through here and church). And something that was irreversible had corrected itself in two days when they checked me again! God really worked and saved her through that. It left the doctor saying that the first results must've been a fluke, but I know what God can do and I know that was all Him! After that it was a waiting game until I was finally induced at 38 1/2 weeks. It was my third baby and I was in labor for 30 hours. When I finally started pushing they found her head was not descending and she was stuck in there side ways! She went into distress and I was bleeding too much during the pushing so we had to be rushed in for an emergency c-section. Thankfully everything has been fine since she was born. I had a great recovery, and the baby is growing wonderfully! She was 8lbs 2oz when she was born. She is our little miracle baby! And everyday when I look at her I feel as though God is right there with us, tangaible evidence that He has touched our lives and blessed us. It can happen to all of us. And I know from expierence how dark some of the days can be when you expected to get a ++ and instead get af. It's not easy. But PLEASE, don't give up hope! There is always hope. And I'd like to share with you a movie that I made of my pregnancy (and at the end some pics of baby). You, of course, do not have to watch it if it will make you uncomfortable. But I thought it may help some of you to not just hear a story but see the pictures and the journey. I hope this helps some of you, hang in there! http://s81.photobucket.com/albums/j2...Anch=imgAnch23 Love to all!

I'm so glad I could help some of you! I remember all too well how hard ttc is. And I too pray that God will bless you all with miracles as well.
Maura, it does seem like yesterday that I got the positive hpt! I can't believe how fast it went. Do you remember I was in total denial that I was even preg? I was like a week late before I would finally take the test! We had been trying for so long I felt like it was impossible to actually get preg, so I was sure it was another failed cycle. But obviously it all turned out well for me! Good luck to you all, and I pray you all get your little miracles!

m/c & child ment
shavon! hi my friend!! and congrats on the birth of your beautiful baby girl! what did you name her?
i unfortunetly just had a m/c a week and a half ago at 12wk3d. it was a missed m/c and i found out the baby stopped growing at 11 wks at our 12 wk scan. i was crushed. we had snuck in an u/s with a friend of my mom's and at 10wk3d, had seen a heartbeat and the baby was moving and kicking around. i had a d&c two friday's ago. i still have really sad moments, but i'm trying to stay positive. and your story totally helped. we're kinda in "limbo" right now, just waiting for that magic "one cycle" to pass so we can ttc again. pray that it happens quickly for us! but in the mean time, we have cami, and she is such a doll. i'm so thankful for her! she just turned one last week! glad to see you here, check back in often! and pics are always welcome! ![]() ssarah
