Hiya all!
Welp, its that time again. After a much needed summer off from classes and IF garbage, its september (almost!) and classes and IF garbage is about to start again!
I'm done with clomid, so far ive done 6 cycles with it, ovulating on five of them with nothing to show for it but frustration and shortened cycles. I love my OBGYN, but its time to move on. I'm 31 and not getting any younger! So tomorrow im putting a call into him for a referral to an RE. Dh and I have been hoping that things would happen on their own. You hear of metformin miracles all the time! I guess i'm not one of them. Our insurance does not pay one penny of IF and the thought of dumping loads of money into it is just not appealing. With me still in school and Dh carrying the brunt of all the financial responsibility, well, things are extremely tight and this will be a challenge to pay for everything plus IF. I figure our next step is a SA for him, since he hasnt had one for six years (before we got pg with dd with just clomid and bms) and it would seem like its time for another. And then i'd imagine it will be IUI and perhaps a more monitored cycle. So....theres our update! I'm so glad to see of the BFPs around here lately! I hope we all catch the fever and we get ours soon!

hey julie....boy this summer has flown hasn't it?
i hope your "new" TTC journey is a short and sweet one. i'm a little surprised that no one has requested a SA from dh sooner. 6 years is a long time. a lot can happen in 6 years. well.....hopefully with the new RE...it'll probably be at the top of the "to do" list. keep us posted! and lotsa luck

m/c ment
hi julie!
![]() well, looks like we'll be back in this ratrace together again! i ended up getting pregnant at the end of may, but just had a m/c two weeks ago at 12 weeks. sucky, to say the least, huh? so now, i have to wait for one cycle, and then get back on the ttc horse! i can't wait for the one cycle to be over so i can feel like we are "doing" something to move forward. but i'm temping thru this cycle, for information only, so we'll see.... : for 30ish days!i hope that the RE starts all the testing over again, so you can make your "new" plan with updated info so it has the highest chance of that BFP for you! see ya around! sarah
