Lost My O!

Okay - me again!
Today is CD24 - and no sign of O for me.
No pains, no nothing! I have slight tenderness on my boobs - but mostly just around my nipples - which is TOTALLY odd for me. I chalk that up to the clomid just trying to drive me bonkers.

Both of my monitors are still at "2 Bars" - and regular OPK's I've been doing don't even have a 2'nd line now. Nothing. Zip. Nada. The line was there probably 1 1/2 - 2 weeks ago - so I guess it's possible that I O'd "under the radar."

I've left a message for the doctor's office - I'm not going to do another cycle on this dosage, I want it upped.
If no O or AF by the end of this week I'm going in for a beta and u/s to be sure and then just popping the provera to get this cycle out of the way.

Hmmmpf! I'm so cranky and frustrated!

oh how frustrating. i agree with you, i'd want to forge foward as well. if you're gonna do a beta, ask them to check your progesterone too. that should determine whether you've O'd or not, and may help shed some light, KWIM?

let us know how you do!

Oh ma -so sorry Geeky - I hate when there is no O -to me it's worse than a BFN- I agree something needs to change for the next cycle.

Thanks for the support ladies!
The doctors office just called back - well one of the nurses called - she's going to check with the doctor - but she thinks I should give the clomid another cycle before asking for a higher dose. She said she'll let me know what the dr says.
Hmmpf! If only they'd just listen to me!

PS! They said to keep taking it for another 2 cycles at the same dosage.

Geeky - so sorry for the O, is really frustrating...

did you take 50mg of clomid?

I took 50mg of clomid and nada for me, Doctor did an U/S today and no follies have grown, so he is giving 100mg next cycle. Now to wait for AF also. I will take my temp anyway to see what's going on.

Good luck to all!!!

Geeky - that doesnt sound right - if u are not Oing , then u shouldnt waste your cycles with same dose. did u speak to a nurse ? If so she is probably guessing. I know u probably mentioned this before.. but are u with a RE? Could u go in for u/s too end of week to see where the follicles are at?

Good luck ... I do hope u still O...

PS I Oed like cd 25 - 26

Hey Geeky - me too

I began Metformin in February and began ovulating regularly in April. Added Clomid (50mg) in late May and took 3rd round of Clomid late July/early August. I typically O on CD16/17 and this month - gone. No sign of O for me. I did have terrible cramps on CD16, but other than that...no +OPK. The RE had told me that if I don't get a surge by CD20 to call for a P4 test. So, I go in tomorrow to see if I O'd at all this month. I already feel like this cycle was a bust, so I'm prepping for Clomid/IUI next cycle.
I agree with BC-DKNY 100% - get your progesterone checked to see if you O'd and missed it. That's what I'm (kinda) hoping for me - no O makes me

I can't find an RE willing to treat me until I lose another 80+ lbs... so I'm just getting my RX's from my ob/gyn. I have another RE appointment in a few weeks so we'll see what he suggests.
I'm on 50mg of clomid and 1000mg of metformin.
I would think that even if I did O "under the radar" one of my monitors would have picked it up!

No O makes me feel worse too - because at least if we O, then we have hope for this cycle.
Having slight cramps today - sort of hoping it's AF coming early! That would be a welcomed thing actually.

Geeky - I can empathisize with the frustration of no O . I would read about ladies suffering with the 2 weeks and I would think to myself if would be great if I could just make it to 2 weeks.... Hang in there...

I think u need to up your dose on clomid atleast to 100 mg. i beleive Beth O ed with 150 mg. I O ed day 25/26 with 150 mg too..The lower dosages had no effect at all . EVen with 150 mg .. i thought the cycle was a bust as my b/w came out showing no O...

Good luck with whatever u decide..
