i need some input ladies. we are at the end of 2ww. had o trigger on 7/23. took hpt 8/7 =bfn, took another one 8/9 =bfn. both were with fmu. so, here's my question, WHERE IS AF????? i am not hopeful that I am pg at this point because obviously a bfn @ 16dpo would not bode well for a successful pg right? HAS ANYONE OUT THERE EVER HAD LATE AF (WITH TRIGGER SHOT) AND NOT BEEN PG???? this has never happened to me before, normally i get af the day before i can hpt or the day of hpt. RE says wait till Mon. and then they'll check prog. and beta..... hummmmm.

i am in exactly the same boat- I triggered on 7/23 and i got bfn over and over - still no af for me either-I am holding out hope that maybe i didnt o till 2 days after trigger-then maybe late implant??I dont know- I wish something would give- even if I get af at least i could gear up for another round- this is killing me wondering whats up!!

I did a search on fertility friend chart gallery for
ovulatory, long cycle and HCG Shot and found several with later AF
I also did a search with PG cycles, HCG shot and late HPT and found quite a few . so hold on until your beta.

thanks ladies! robby do you take progesterone during the 2ww? I don't so that doesn't explain the delay.

wan2b3 how did you find your info? i'd love to do a search too. are you also experiencing a delayed AF or has it happened before? what was the outcome?

I do not use progesterone during 2ww-I really do not understand all of this-but i guess ill wait and see- im going to RE on friday the 18th. but it was a great comfort to know that im not the only one!Good luck!!

took another hpt today. i am now 18dp iui. still no AF and BFN. I'm telling you, all the signs are here except for the blood. sorry tmi. i put a call in this morning to see if RE will just call in some provera and get things going. not sure what he'll say. i'm hoping they don't tell me i need to come in for beta first. i'd have to wait until Mon. then. and would just like to get this cycle over with. I have to sit out the next one to have an hsg done and in Sept. i'm on jury duty so can't cycle then either. I was hoping to being doing iui the first week in Sept. as I have already callled the court house and they said it was fine to miss the first week. what a pain in the a**!!!! let me know what happens with you robby. i sure do feel better knowing your out there too.

dancinglilly- I definatly feel your pain- took another hpt and got another BFN- still no af- today is cd 32-21 dp trigger. I'm so dissappionted -I really thought if you had hcg trigger that something would happen. Im really sad. Im also having problems at home with DH but Im keeping my appt regardless.I will see RE on Friday- and use sperm bank if I have too. I want to be a Mom- with or without my husband.

hey robby! sorry to hear about you and dh. I understand how you feel. IF is very stressful and hard on a marriage. Hopefully you will get through this and be stronger because of it. I finally got af sat. (21dp trigger) Fri. I went to RE for blood work. RN said you can tell O by prog. levels so. they checked that, hcg and my thyroid. everything looked fine except my thyroid (have been battling that for a couple of years now) which explained my late AF. RN said that sometimes you don't O from trigger = later AF than expected. HMMMM hopefully you will get some good answers on Fri. Is it a new RE or could you call sooner?

As for me, I'm now on bcp so that i can have an hsg done on Mon. YUCK!!! I will stay on bcp until the 28th of Aug. and cycle early Sept. Hopefully that will be our lucky one as dh says this is our last try and he is heading in for ye ol snip, snip.

Alot has happened since my last post- my husband ahs told me he doesnt love me and has asked for a divorce. This comes as a shock bc i knew we had some financial issues- but i really thought there was genuine love there. So of course all my baby hopes are out the window (for now) and I am just hanging on- I havent cried in 2 days which is a feat and Im proud that ive been able to go back to work today. RobbiJ -I am sooo sorry. I can't even imagine in the middle of TTC you have to deal with that. (((Hugs))) -I wish there was more i could say or do at this time.
