A temp and progesterone question....
I'm 6dpo and noticing my chart looking way different than the past few cycles and I was wondering if maybe my hormones have kicked back in gear finally this month. My temps post O prior to this month were up down and all around and this month they seem to be steadily climbing up. I go for my 7dpo progesterone check tomorrow, so I guess I will eventually see what it really is, but in the meantime, I thought I'd ask you wonderful ladies!
![]() I guess I am just wondering if prog. alone effects post O temps, or are there other factors that determine temps? (other than the normal stuff like a restless nights sleep, or AC cranked, etc) http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/11cae3

Your chart does look great!
Progesterone is the strongest contributor to temperature, but surgers of progesterone or estrogen, esp if not enough progesterone is released can cause a zig-zag effect. In addition to that -there is varibilaity caused by the conditions under which the temps are taken - drinking, sleeplessness, fever etc all play a part. A few cycles back I thought for sure I was tri-phasic, my temps jumped and stayed high -I was all excitied until I came down with a sinus infection and ear infection a day or two later. Good Luck!! ++++++++vibes |

hi A...
i agree with w2b3....progesterone does have an impact on temps as do many other contributing factors. good progest production (whether naturally or introduced synthetically) will help get the temps up. either way, your temps look beautiful so far! fingers crossed that they stay that way for a looooong time.
