I took clomid for several cycles and even though I had lots of follicles, pg never occured. I did however have a friend that got pregnant with 2 on clomid and now has eight mos old twins. A boy and a girl.
Good luck on clomid and I'll keep my fingers crossed that it works for you quickly!! )

I'm on my fourth round of clomid. 1st two months at 50mg, next two at 100mg. I get TERRIBLE hot flashes and bloating. Still no pg and this is the last month my dr. will give me it b/c it can thin your lining.

My advice
Drink lots of water - it takes water to make CM
Take baby asprin to help with lining
Take Robitussin or Mucinex for about 5-7 days before you O until you O
If your CM goes away -try pre-seed.

What dose are they starting you on?

Thanks for the great advice!! I'm starting with 50mg a day for CD5-CD9. My doctor only told me to drink lots of water, but he didn't mention anything about baby aspirin (although I've read it helps)....can it hurt to take even though he didn't actually tell me to? Maybe I'll ask him then next time I talk to him before I start my next cycle. I just don't want to take anything extra if it's not worth it or if it's not going to help me....I'm tiny as it is, so I'm worried I'm definitely going to feel the side effects of this drug...I don't want to add to it with adding other drugs if it's not a good idea... =) haha... I'm so nervous, but so excited! =)

you need to do whatever you're comfy with. It is one baby asprin though -which is the dose a lot of people take for heart conditions.
I didn't take it all cycle -I went in for my CD-12 US and my lining was thin-ish (at 5.5), so I started taking it on CD-12, and then by my CD-14 u/s it was awesome at 10 mm -so play it by ear and if you have problems you can always try it -but don't worry about it if you don't.

Glad you are excited -good luck.

of course I'm not a doc, so it can't hurt to run it past your OB or RE.
