Waiting For O!
Good morning ladies!
It's CD17! Both fert. monitors are at "2 Bars" still. I've had sorta EWCM (not quite but close) for the last few days. Last night and today I swear it feels like someone has been using my ovaries for soccer balls! I was almost convinced that this morning I would get my "Peak fertility" on my monitor - didn't, but I do think it's pretty darned close! Hoping to get it this evening when I test again. Now if only DH was in the BMS'ing mood! It was 103 yesterday and he was out there in the sun pulling out weeds! Hmmpf!

LOL, geeky. I took DH to the grocery store yesterday, which is something I never do bc we end up spending more $ when he is there (yesterday we spent an extra $60 due to his presence). Bc he has been on a weight loss kick, his meal options are limited. I kid you not, he literally hugged the boxes of hamburger helper, mac-n-cheese, and rice-a-roni that were lined up on the shelves! He then went on to talk to the boxes about how much he missed them!! LOL. There was probably a reason people decided to skip that aisle while we were in it!

Thanks for the good thoughts A!
![]() I also took DH to the grocery store yesterday - BIG mistake! I planned on spending about $30 with everything we NEEDED! $97 later - we left... me grumbling at him that he had best drink those 10 gallons of iced tea and had best eat every single one of those corn chips! The liver 'n cheese sandwich meat - he'd best eat it all too! Hamburger helper can still be eaten by peeps watching their food intake... just not very much of it!

LOL. DH has no self-control. He'd eat hamburger helper and potato chips every day if he could! I had to have an intervention with him in the grocery store aisle - I was reminding him how hard he worked to lose weight and how proud he is of himself, etc. He finally snapped out of it and walked away from the aisle looking very defeated. I let him buy some cookies, though, so he was happy.
My DH makes me buy the most random stuff at the grocery store, too, and then he doesn't eat it. Makes me so angry bc I hate wasting $ and food!! We ended up with some fancy olives bc he got excited about the new gourmet "olive bar" at Tom Thumb. Then he decided that we needed foccacia (sp?) bread to go with the olives and, I swear, he would have purchased the entire red meat counter, if I'd let him! I had to remind him that we were only shopping for one week, not three years!!

This is funny - Just yesterday I sent DH out for groceries while I did my fertility yoga - and he came back with all the stuff on the list. Well this am, I was pulling out the receipt and found in addition to lunch meat he bought Harboro Gummi Fruit Salad and hid it from me!!! LOL

lol - that's cute Wan2b3 - he hid the gummi's from you!!
He followed the list though - that's great! Points to your DH! Olives are funny lol... we still have a GIANT jar of pickles in the pantry. It must be 30lbs or something silly... he's eaten 1 pickle, it's been a year. I believe that day I'd sent him to the grocery store for basics... milk, bread, etc... A few weeks ago I cleaned out the pantry and put all of the stuff he's bought/made me buy out on the counter for him... I was TRYING to gripe at him... instead he goes "Ohhh! Butterfingers!" And walks off happy! ![]() I wonder why they feel the need to get odd things and then never eat them! He didn't want cookies yesterday... odd... since I know he'll be asking me this week if we've got any cookies. I guess I can point him instead to the dragonfruit capri suns, the mango soda, and the ever loving butterfingers. |

We always spend more when DH is with me too, but he says it's because he gets to get things that HE wants when he goes. So, I guess the rye bread I buy him that I hate is for me, eh?
![]() for the 3 bars tonight geeky, and hoping Hamburger helper does the trick!
