A Question in need of your Opinons!
Ok, today is day 5 in that L~O~N~G 2ww. It is day 4 on the progesterone gel (after a bad reaction day 1 of it). I know progesterone has lots of wonderful side effects (
), but I've had cramping on and off for the past 3 days. There is no rhyme or reason to it, sometimes it's pretty bad, sometimes it's just twinges. Sometimes my ovaries even hurt a little bit. Today (and I'm sorry if this is TMI), but I have the worst wettness. It's not from the gel (the gel itself, after a while tends to form into globules - YUCK), but I feel like I wet myself and I'm walking around. It's not EWCM, not lotiony - just wet. I've seriously grossed my (fireman/paramedic who has seen the worst of the worst) out! It's subsided somewhat, but it's driving me crazy. Is this normal? This is my first assisted cycle and I'm sorry I have a zillion and one questions! Thanks Ladies! SMILES

Hi Sassy: Perhaps the cramping is due to a cyst (very common after O)? As for the wetness... I don't know! Have you called your doctor yet? If not, I would, to let him/her know about the cramping. In the process, you can mention the wetness!
What are your temps doing now, btw? GOod luck and keep us posted++++++++++++ Maura |

97.5 today (was 97.63 yesterday). Here's the link to my chart:
http://www.ovusoft.com/forum/chart.asp?id=sassymermaid It's weird - the wetness lasted for maybe an hour and a half - two @ the most and it's gone. This is the first time I've ever used the gel, so I'm wondering if it has something to do with that. The cramping is weird - it's nothing major - just on and off - twinges here, mild cramps there. Again, I wonder if it's the gel - it's definitely one of the side effects (cramps, abd. pain, etc.). I think I'm reading WAY TOO MUCH on every little thing. My DH keeps telling me to relax - actually, it's what he's been saying since we've started TTC! He says I stress about this all too much! He's probably right! AHHHH! Thanks for checking in - it always makes me feel a little more sane! SMILES! |

2 days behind you...I should say, you are 2 days ahead - 2 days closer to being done with this 2ww LOL I have to say, this is the MOST maddening part of it all! I've always been "in tune" but never ever stopped and analyzed and counted exact days and this is CRAZY! I told my DH, I just want to know - yes or no. I have no patience whatsoever. It's hard! So, I have 2 weeks to sit and over analyze everything! At least I go back to work for next cycle. THat will get my mind off of this. AHHH!!
I've been doing a lot of scrapbooking swaps hoping that will help - NOPE. Reading - does for a little bit. BUT, we'll get thru it, right? I always tell my students, "Everything happens for a reason." Time to practice what I preach and think positive - there is a reason we are going thru this - JUST GET ME THRU THE 2WW LOL!!!! SMILES! |
