To Test or better yet - WHEN to Test

Ok, so I've looked back through all the 2ww and testing threads. I thought I was the only one who was addicted to POAS (even when I knew it wouldn't tell me anything LOL). Here is/are my question(s)...

1. When in the recommended day to start testing
(recommended by professionals or all of us when we are not in addiction mode because if I answered it as an addict, I would say anyday

)

2. Is there a recommended brand - one that is most reliable?

3. How do you survive the 2ww and not go crazy? LOL

I have not replenished my supply of HPTs yet as I KNOW that I will be pulling them out every chance I get when they will be BFNs.

I use internet cheapies and usually start testing way too early- 8 dpo with FMU.

I try to hold out until 10dpo and I use the dollar store brand. At that price I could test several days during the 2ww!!

How to stay sane during this time ???? The ladies on this board keep me going.

The recommended day to start testing is at 14-15 dpo

As that site says, all brands have had false positives at one point or another, but some brands seem to be better than others. I personally found Clear Blue Easy and e.p.t. to be very reliable.

My DR stated to test after AF was due... the only time she said to test earlier was when the progesterone was really high for me...

What I did... well.... it all depended on how I felt. I tried to wait till 14 dpo... which mostly was 12 dpo... I would sometimes test earlier if I thought O was earlier.. but that didnt help things.. since I prob Od a day later than thought!!

I like the dollarTree... they are cheap... I really like FREDS.

You dont!

I would prepare for the next cycle... what I could do different.. .make sure the bms fest wasnt boring...lol...

I would also think about how long implantation can take and that if I test too early I will just drive myself crazy and broke!
