Can you be pg and tmp be low?

Hi Girls,

According to my chart I did not ovulate this month. Its weird because I usually ovulate on cycle day 16 or 17.(out of 29-30).
I am 1 day late and its driving me crazy. On one hand I'm trying to convince
myself that it's impossible because my temperatures are so low. Usually
after O they stay in the 97.9 and up range.

One other thing is that I have a lymph infection under my arms (sorry for tmi)
and I read that infections can play around with your hormones and delay menstruation.

My cervix has been high and soft for the past three days???
I also took a hpt test on Wednesday and ofcourse it was negative.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. I just want her to come and get this over with. (ok I don't want her to come but if she must I want it soon.......you know what I mean.

Hi Kat: I don't see O from your chart (I was thinking O on cd 25 was a possibility, but your temp on cd 20 is a little high for that scenario... plus I noticed your temps on cd 25-26 are potentially not reliable?) ... can you get a blood test just to rule out (or in!) pg and/or ovulation? That way you will know where you stand.

Good luck and I hope your lymph infection is gone soon too! Keep us posted!

Maura,

Thanks for your response. This cycle seems to never end. I am already a week late, took three pg tests and all of them are negative. I don't know what to think. I have had really bad cramps on and off for the past two weeks. I don't have any pg symptoms so where is she?? I'm going to see
my gyno this Saturday. I hope she doesn't arive then. This is the first time its
she's been so late.

Fertility friend says I ovulated, then it changes its mind, now it says I did ovulate.................... hmmmmmmmmm, this is driving me nuts.
Sorry for complaining so much. I was just wondering if anybody experienced any of this.

Kathy

Hi again, Kathy! This is a hard chart... cd 2 keeps jumping out at me as a possible O day, although as I said before, you have some unreliable temps around that time, so it's hard to say for sure. If you did O on cd 25, though, you'd only be 10 dpo today, so it's not surprising either that you haven't had AF or had a ++HPT since it would still be so early! I'm glad you're seeing your doctor on Saturday because you can get a blood test to see if you are pg (or even just to confirm O).

Good luck and keep us posted+++++++++++
