Anyone get BFP the cycle after chemical pg? Looking for hope

Hi there.

DH and I just completed our first IVF attempt. Unfortunately, it resulted in a chemical pg. Re is suggesting that as soon as HCG is zero-hopefully on Tues or Wed-that I should start BCP's and move right on to next fresh cycle.

Does anyone out there have a success story of a BFP (healthy pg) just after a chemical pg?

I am so looking for a boost right now. We are seriouly considering giving up.

hi sherilea....i'm sorry about your chemical.

i was successful on my 3rd cycle after a chemical. although it wasn't immediately, it was fairly soon after.

i was pretty much ready to give up as well. i gave myself a time cut off and got pg just 4 cycles shy of that date.

Hi Sherilea: I'm so sorry about your pg loss. {{{HUGS}}} It sounds like your doctor is optimistic if he/she is telling you to ttc right away, so I would follow his/her guidance and go ahead with ttc -- as long as YOU feel up to it. That part is so important.

I hope you get back to 0 soon so that you have the freedom to go ahead if you choose to....

Hi girls.

Thank you so much for your support. It means so much to DH and I. We are anxious to see what the HCG results are tomorrow. I truly hope we made it back to zero so that I won't need a D&C. Should everything be o.k. I think we're going to listen to our RE and jump right back in to the next cycle.

my best friend went thru 3 IVF cycles before she got her BFP. her son and my daughter were born one day after the next! and when the put the embryo back in for her son, it was only a 4 celled embie, and was the only one they had. and he dug in, and 9 mos later was a big healthy boy! so, hold on tight...there is hope!

hope that HCG is back to 0 so you can start a fresh new cycle!
