Advice needed on EPT tests, please. (poss pg ment)

Let me preface this by saying, that we are not ttc, so no charting, temping etc, just weird signs and/or symptoms. I also am very irregular, so I never know when af will come, I have been feeling the below things for a little over a week now.

Here's the brief background. We have only had bms ONCE at the end of March and then ONCE about 2 weeks ago. I have been off of bcp for about 2 months and have pcos, so I honestly don't know when and if I'm late. But, for the last week or so, my bbs have started to get a little tender, not sore, just a little tender when my shirt rubs them, that kind of thing. AND, (tmi ahead, just a warning), the area around the middle (you know what I mean, I'm trying not to be too descriptive) is noticeably larger and darker. So, I got a two-pack of EPT's and took one last night. I got the horizontal line for neg. BUT, there was a break, right in the middle where the vertical (+ part) would go. I toss it to the side, thinking it may be too early. I mean, my bbs have NEVER looked or felt like this except when I was. Anyhow, I looked at it a bit later and saw the left side of the vertical line in the window now. It says not to read it after 10 minutes, this was about a half an hour later. Then, this morning I take the other one and the same thing, the break in the middle of the horizontal line, but no sign of the vertical one. I suppose IF I am AND it happened 2 weeks ago, it would be still too early.

I'm looking for all experiences, both good and bad with EPT's. And, also, is there ANY other medical condition that could cause the change in color and/or shape of the bbs. I know the tenderness can be hormonal, AF, etc, but what about the color and shape and the fact that my bbs are definitely fuller.

i dont know what to say but have you had any cramping. with my experiences with early responce there are not evaporation line. take one again. i dont know what was wrong with your other one. good luck. hope you have a surprize. alex.

I've had on/off cramping and litle twinges in the lower left side of my abdomen. I'm also exhausted when I get home from work. I just need to quit analyzing. I'm very thankful for what I've got. Thanks so much for responding!!

i am in the same situation you are. i have sore bb. cramping but a neg test. i am wondering if i am making up the symptioms. i took the test two weeks ago. i want to take it again but am waiting. i was on lupron. see my post on the emdo bb for more info. the only time i have cramping is when i have been pg. i lost both. so i am scared. i am also more tired that usual. good luck. alex.

Hi there: Maybe it's too early or maybe the HPT was defective in some way... I'd try ClearBlue Easy maybe and see what happens...

Maybe you need a few more days to darken the line??

I think I hace had that before and I was not preg.. that was ages ago.... I hope what ever it is you want you recieve!
