temp dip question - help!

Hi all-

So I'm merrily temping along with increasingly rising temps when, boom, out of the blue, at 10 dpo my temp goes down 4 tenths. What gives? To add insult to injury, I had a raging backache last night. Ugh. Help my out here, ladies. I'm loosing it.

Hi Skippy, Is your temp still above your coverline? Sometimes temps do dip down and then pop right back up again... hope that's the case for you! It's the overall pattern that matters and not just any one day.

Also, do you know what your usual LP is?

Good luck and let us know how you're doing+++++++++++

Maura-

Thanks for the reassurance. My LP when taking prog. (which I'm on currently) is 14 days minimum, so I'd be shocked if it's my period. Also, on progesterone I usually get my period before my temps drop...it stays artifically elevated until I stop taking them. So, you can see why I'm confused. I'll take your advice and wait and see what tomorrow's temp is before I go completely mad.

Maura-

I just realized I didn't answer one of your questions....yes, thank God, it's still well above my coverline or I'd really be going bonkers! I'll report in tomorrow with the 2nd edition.

Hi Skippy: I thought it might be (above your coverline)! In that case, you have NOTHING to worry about at all! When I was pg with my dd, my temp fell TO my coverline three times in my 2ww and I thought the cycle was a bust!

Keep us posted and GOOD LUCK+++++++++++++++++

Hi Maura-

I was relieved to hear about your temperatures! Mine went up a whopping 1 tenth this am - hey, at least it didn't go down, right?! LOL. Thanks for all your support. I'll keep you posted!

Oh good, Skippy! Just keep your eye on that coverline and as long as you stay above it -- and AF stays away -- you'll be fine!

GOOD LUCK and keep in touch++++++++++
