I've been thinking about this alot, since we test early. When does the Egg implant, at how may DPO? Once implantation happens, how long before HCG is in your system <--- Did I ask this right *lol*...I know I read this somehwere, but cannot remember this answer

i'd like to add that upon late implantation you could still get a false neg at 14 dpo. i tested at 15 dpo (with a cd 14 O) and got a blatant neg. 4 days later i got a pos.
i think the longer you could wait the better. it's also best to use FMU. good luck!

Yes, I agree... a study out of Chapel Hill showed that up to 10% of pg women get a false negative when testing at the time AF is due....so, if you get a negative and AF is still MIA, wait a bit and test again!
Good luck ++++++++++++++Maura |
