Julie it is impossible to wait that long especially when we hear that it is possible to see results as early as 10dpo. I also tested yesterday 10dpo and it was negative. My bbs hurt and I have cramps and I keep going to the bathroom to check my cervix like a mad woman. I get so happy when its soft but then I do it again later and its hard again.
My hubby thinks I'm nuts taking temperatures with two thermometers and taking them 5 times in a row hoping for a higher temperature. Its mad I tell ya. So don't worry you're not alone. You're temps are still high so don't give up. I'll try not to either and keep my fingers crossed for ya. Kathy P.S. Thanks for the tip about the chart. I hope it works http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/11d818 |

Oh Julie! One of the blessings of FT (lots of great information) is also one of its downsides (lots of information)! When you hear about others testing ++ at 10 dpo, it makes you think that you should and that you should see a ++ if you are pg! But 10 dpo is really too early to test in the vast majority of cases! Yes, *some* women test ++ that early, but that's only if they implanted on the earlier side of the window... if they implanted in the middle of the window or on the later side, they're not going to see a ++ at that time even if they are in fact pg!
I never would have thought of testing at 10 dpo before finding FT! Once I heard about early testing, though, it was hard to turn back. The only thing I told myself -- and I tell everyone here -- if you can't resist and end up testing early, just know that REALLY REALLY it's SO early and you can easily get a false negative! And if you see a negative, don't give up hope... just wait another few days and try again if AF is still missing! Feeling very hopeful for you, my dear !Good luck and keep us posted++++++++++++++ Maura |
