Mid cycle spotting*!!!

Hello*!!! I am hoping someone can help me here. I did a google search and the results are endless, but as we all know we can read 5 different pages and get 5 different answers.
I have been charting and paying more attention to my cycles for 3 months now, one thing I noticed is that around cd=13-14 I start spotting. Ken and I started "practicing" OPK's this cycle to better pinpoint my O time, but so far they are NEG. I am just wondering could this be a sign of something good or something bad??? I would make a DR's appt with this info alone (3 cycles mid spotting) but I don't have insurance yet....so any info or help would be kewl*!!!

QV...2 things come to my mind with mid-cycle spotting....one is O, b/c some women do spot when they O, but you said you've only gotten neg OPK's. the other is a hormonal imbalance, which i realize could mean a variety of things, but that's where the doc comes in

how much longer before you have insurance?

Hi QV: Usually spotting around that time is a good thing because it goes along with ovulation, but I'm mystified by the negative OPKs ... What time of day do you test? And when did you start the OPKs this month? And what is the spotting like? Any cramping with it?

Hello*!!!

DYNY=I won't have insurance until after the wedding....hohum. Like I said I normally would call....but that is a big reason to hold me back.

Maura=I am testing at 5pm. That is about 4-5 hours after I wake up. I started testing actually on cd=10. this cycle I had brown spotting, but when I wiped I had a small clot with it (TMI sorry). At that point I put a tampon in because I didn't know what was going on. I haven't had any AF type cramps...but a lot of ovary pains (right side). We have 3 more tests left...and I am still temping...so we will se what happens over those days.

Last year around this time I was having a period every 2 weeks for 6 weeks. I didn't know if I had maybe m/c'd or not so I went to planned parenthood and they took a HPT...it said neg and the nurse said she thought I was experiencing hormonal imbalance and put me on the patch for a month. I really don't want to do that again...Could there maybe be some herbs I can go on to help with that??? I know this is difficult because I can't just call the DR and make an appt...but a natural solution would be something I am willing to try.

QV...why don't you go over to the alternative treatment bb and ask some questions or read some posts. i had gotten some very helpful info from the girls there back when i was ttc.

a couple of the things i was using were one 81 mg baby aspirin, robitussin, prenatal vitamin, vitamin B6 (ER), natural progest cream. the cream wasn't enough to correct my problem, i wound up going on the supp's, but it sure did amazing things for my PMS.

I have No idea sweetie, I have never dealt with this before. My issue is Ovulating, so never had Mid cycle spotting. Hoping you can figure this out, and get some answers !

Hello*!!! well I sure hope that I see a POS today...I feel bloated and my right ovary I think might pop...teeheehee I also got my days mixed up...I took 4 tests...starting on cd=10...so yesterday actually was cd=13...today is day 14. My temp is still down as well. I will look at the alt board. I am on a aray of vitamins including b-complex...plus I need to call and ask my surgeon if I can take baby asprin for short time use. (gastric bypass surgeon)
