I'm Back! (For Real)

Not that I really ever left.... but DH & I have compromised on the lap-band surgery! We'll give the new RE 6 cycles to work his "magic" and then if all are BFN's I'll return to my surgeon and schedule the lap-band procedure.
RE is going to most likely tell me to lose weight anyway, which I've been doing by myself and with weight watchers - soooo..... here I am!

I'm on CD2 of a brand spankin' new cycle - no meds. The RE appointment isn't for another month.
I'll be using my two clear blue easy monitors (AM & PM). I'll be BBT'ing this cycle too, just to see how it works out for me.

DH is even taking his vitamins! That, ladies, shows true dedication to the cause.

That's great, geekychick! Trust me, your new RE will tell you if he thinks you should have the lap-band surgery first or if you could wait. He is very pragmatic. Write down all the questions you want to ask him. He always gets me rattled up and I forget to ask my questions!

That's great about Weight Watchers, too. I know a lot of people that have had success with WW. It didn't work for me, though, bc I just hated going to the meetings. 30 minutes/week was just too much of a commitment!

Wishing you luck with this cycle, so that you won't ever have to visit the RE!

Wishing you good luck this month !!!! Looks like we are cycle buddy's (thats if you want one) I saw in the post that you are thinking of doing lap band. I did gastric bypass a year and a 1/2 ago and I'm so glad I did it !!!! It took me 10 1/2 months to get to goal and I'm still there
Good luck
Laura

Wishing you LOADS of luck this month, and hoping no RE, or 6 more cycles are needed! However, you have a great plan ahead of you * if all else fails* Good Luck !

Thanks good souls!
Laura - I'd love a cycle buddy! Woohoo! Would make the 2WW easier to tolerate.

I'm going to do my best to be upbeat and more cheerful all around - the mopey me just isn't as cool as the upbeat me!

A little bummed about this last cycle though - for some reason I was convinced I was going to get a BFP. I just knew in my heart of hearts I was! Ah well! It felt good being delusional at least.

Hello*!!! well I wish you all the best this cycle*!!! I know what a commitment that IF can be...and even trying to lose weight*!!! I had gastric bypass surgery just over 4 years ago and I am very happy with the results. The only thing I have not checked off my list was to have a happy and healthy pg...BUT as a result of the surgery I have lost (as of right now...gained back 20lbs) 140lbs. I am working my hardest to lose that 20lbs that I gained back, but now I am a normal person that only needs to lose 20lbs. SURE beats having to lose 100+lbs. I am Oing normally...and I am feeling great. I had my tummy tuck 2 years ago next month and I feel awsome about myself. There really isn't anything I can't do.
