It's too soon right?
Okay, I am now 7 days post iui and I have had cramping off and on since the procedure. I haven't really had any spotting though. For the last two days now, my breasts have been very sore. I know that it's way too early to test, but I was wondering if these are symptoms.....or wishful thinking! Does anyone know when you start feeling pg?

i would say yes, it's too early to feel anything pg related. but that doesn't mean something's not going on in there
hopefully your IUI worked and maybe it's trying to implant.you're right about it being too early to test, so try and put that out of your mind for at least another week. i know it's torturous, but try. good luck and keep us posted!

yes, too early to test. However I did experience really really early preggo symptoms one time. I KNEW I was preggo and went to the doc, pee test only, but It came back neg. I still felt preggo, went back 1 week later (duh, after I missed my period) and it was BFP!!!
I say, dont give up on the signs. it ain't over until that fat lady (af) sings!! |

Thanks,
I knew I was reading into things. It's just I've never had cramping or breast tenderness mid cycle before. It is just my luck that I get all this stuff now! I'm so glad I found this place, this is exactly the kind of stuff I can't talk to DH about. He believes it will happen someday...and if it's not this cycle it will be another one, and he's fine with whenever it happens. He also doesn't want me to stress about it and if I bring anything up he seems surprised that I'm even thinking about it. It really helps to come here and read what everyone else has to say. |

BM......when i was TTC i read into and felt every single bodily twinge. it's impossible not to when you're trying to achieve pg. we in turn get so familiar with our bodies, that when something feels somewhat different, we're on it like white on rice. i totally understand how you feel!!!
hmmmm i have a tendency to reduce everyone's names to initials, but maybe with you i should stick yto your whole name....LOL

I'm going to test on Tue....even though I know it will be early. I don't know though, all weekend my lower back has been bothering me and my breasts are still really sore. I usually feel like this before AF. Usually it is a little closer to AF when I feel like this, but still.....
I haven't been feeling so positive about it today. When are you going to test? I'll keep my fingers crossed! Last edited by bluemomma; 05-21-2006 at 10:17 PM. |
