help! implantation bleeding??

I did AI's at the begining of April.....then I has spotting on 11dpo and bleeding for the next 4 days.......I was assuming this was AF.

I never spot so the day and 1/2 of that was really really wierd. The bleeding was pretty normal AF except it only lasted 3-4 days instead of the normal 7.

Could this have been a heavy implantation bleed? or regular AF?

it's possible that your IUI from april turned out pos and that was a "mock" AF that you had. it's not that uncommon. i had a friend who went thru this except she had THREE false AF's. imagine her surprise when they did the u/s and told her she was 12w pg.

anyway, that's probably how they'll determine when conception was....via u/s. it'll probably veriify whether the conception was a result of your april IUI.

cool, i just tested this afternoon, too late to call the doc.
But I was shocked to say the least! I should clarify, that I was not testing for Ovulation in May, we were taking a break that month...but I am so regular on cd17 and we had sex 2 times (the day after AF and the day before it was due).

It is just odd and confusing.

I will be contacting a doc tomorrow. Thanks

How do you know if it is a "mock" AF?

Hi Familyof2: There's no way to know for sure if you've had a faux AF, but if your AF is unusual in any way and you start to feel strange, you might want to take an HPT just to rule out (or in!) pg...
