Help me interpret...
I am 15 dpo. We have an appointment with RE on 5/31. I went to my OB/GYN yesterday for my annual and mentioned to her that I had not gotten my period yet (Day 28 of my cycle) and no spotting or anything- which I usually have by now. She said they'd do some test with the urine sample. We have TTC 5 years and nothing- ever! We have 13% morphology, hence the visit to RE 5/31.
So..to make a long story longer......I have had terrible cramps and painful bbs lately (last 5 days or so) and assumed AF is minutes away. I tell the doc yesterday I'm not taking anymore HPT. So today I tell DH that advil is doing NOTHING for these cramps and come home to lay in bed with a heating pad again. I'm also a mess because my skin is breaking out like I'm 13. So I take an EPT (the last one- figure get this one out of the way and throw away the box.) And in like a minute (maybe less) there is a faint second line. Call Doc and they tell me the test they did was neg but to come in Monday for blood. I go and buy three more tests. A Walgreen's brand shows neg result. My temp is up ever since ovulation. Could this be our miracle? Any thoughts? Lora

Julie,
Thanks for the response! Yes, the faint one on the Walgreen's did come up in the time frame. I just did the digital one and that one said no- however, I also just drank like a gallon of milk (okay, I'm exaggerating) to make myself have to go again. So-I don't know-I think I will call the office tomorrow to try and get in. I'm a teacher and the only available times are when I am in school. I'm thinking maybe I ask a friend to sub for me so I can leave early. I guess since I knew they had the Monday time I could make, if I wait until then then a positive will REALLY be positive. After 5 years it's like I don't want to wake up from this dream, you know? |

missh2.....save yourself a test and use it tom morning with FMU. don't even bother with anymore tonite. all you're doing at this point (by drinking) is dilutinhg your urine output. when it's this early, you need concentrated urine to trigger the test. it sounds encouraging!
we'd love to hear how it goes on the morning. best of luck!!!!

Hi there: Just wanted to wish you luck! 15 dpo is still relatively early so that could account for your ambiguous HPT results.... The more time that passes, the more accurate your results will be!
Good luck and keep us posted+++++++++++ Maura |
