LOTS of TTC questions...help please (child ment)

Hi ladies. Okay, I have a son who is 17 months old. I know we did all the tricks in the book to conceive (except bbt), but I can't remember anything. Please help me! I want to bbt this time around. I want to OPK. I want to do Robitussin to help w/ cm. I just forget when and how to do it all. (FYI - I'm on Clomid cd3-7)

Can you PLEASE help me?! Take me step by step on how to make a baby!!!!

Thanks, ladies! ( Oh...this cycle was a major bust! Still no af, but I had a neg. hpt this morning and no sore bbs or anything. I've had light cramping the past week, though. Today is 12dpo )
-Jill-

Hi Jill! Don't give up on this cycle, my dear. At 12 dpo you could still be implanting TODAY so it's not surprising that an HPT showed a negative. Give it another 2 days if you can wait and try testing at 14-15 dpo.

As for a schedule for next month (but let's hope you don't need it):

cd 1 (or whenever AF ends if you want) Begin temping first thing in morning before doing ANYTHING.

cd 3-7 Take Clomid

cd 11 Begin OPKs and Robitussin (I took 4 tsp 3 times a day, but I know other people have gotten good results on a lower dosage. Also, there's now Mucinex which is the pill form of guaifenesin. Never used that, but it should work the same. Just make sure you get the stuff where the only active ingredient is guaifensin (whether it's Robi or Mucinex). If you KNOW you're going to O later -- some women on Clomid know they won't O until cd 17-20, then you could start the OPKs and Guaif. later, but if you are unsure, better start around cd 11.

Also cd 11-12 Begin BMS and BMS any day you see good cm. Don't wait for OPK to turn ++. Once you see ++OPK, BMS that same day and for the next 2 days. That part is very important. And if you're still temping, BMS after ++OPK until your temp rises and stays up! Also very important.

GOod luck and let us know if you have any questions AND how this current cycle turns out!

I also take 2000mg (1000mg in the morning and 1000mg in the evening) of Evening primrose oil for CM...and i have to say it has helped immensely....i have zero problem charting my cm now. You only take EPO from cd1 to ovulation because it can cause uterine contractions and you dont want that messing with implantation.

GOOD LUCK! (hopefully you'll get a nice ++++ surprise in a couple days and wont need to worry about ttc! )
