For pre-O temp dip can...
your temp drop for 2 straight days b/f O? I ovulated on CD16 last month and it is currently CD15 and my temp dropped yesterday and this morning. I am having BMS but was just curious as to how that works?
Thanks!

yes, it definitely can. you will see all sorts of scenarious. i (personally) would get one drastic dip on the day of O. however, i've seen others charts where the temp went down for a couple of days and then went all the way up. i've also seen temps drop for a couple of days and then rise just to the original point (which actually turns out to be the CL) and then increases to the bi-phasic level on the 3rd day, verifying O has occurred after the 2nd day of dip. does that make sense or am i totally confusing you?
i think you're doing the right thing by starting BMS because once your temp goes up (above your previous 6 temps) then O has already occurred.

Thanks DKNY! I didn't realize you had O'd if your temp went up past the previous six. I always wait until it is up for 3 straight days after a dip and quite honestly until FF tells me that I O'd! LOL!
ANYWAY, I think I O'd on CD15 or CD16 and today is CD17. We had BMS on CD11, CD13, 14, 15,and 16 and will try again tomorrow just in case I am wrong! However my temp spiked this morning to higher than my previous six. Does that mean I o'd yesterday? two days ago? Thanks! |
