Question about temps!

Just a quick one!! Do the seasons affect bbt? I've started temping again after last ivf (Nov) and my temps are always really low compared to previous temping. I also had decapeptyl (like lupron depot) injections for two months (last one november 4th)-to cut a long story short...I'm confused

best wishes to you all and your help is very much appreciated, Liz

I think there are a lot of factors that affect your temps. I would assume the weather would play a role in it also. However, I started temping August first and have not seen a dramatic change in my temps. Have you had your thyroid checked because sometimes that can cause low temps.

I temped for over a year. I'm in Canada, so we have huge temp fluctuations between seasons. I didn't notice any change in BBT.

I was going to suggest the thyroid thing too.

Thanks girls, I did wonder about the thyroid thing, but I had blood tests last year that showed all normal . Have a great weekend, Liz

Hi Liz: I had someone ask me the same question before and my answer was that the seasons didn't affect my temps but that but that anything's possible!

Are your temps low overall? Or just pre-O or just post-O? Are you able to see a thermal shift?

Good luck and keep us posted++++++++++++++
